Hi, Cannot remove the program VirusBurster from system. I do not want it, though when going into change/remove it begins to install asking for a choice of language. Help please.

VirusBurster will not allow you to easily remove it because it's spyware/adware which is generally difficult to remove without an anti-virus program and/or a spyware removal program. Give your system a scan with anti-virus software and a spyware removal program such Ad-Aware or Spybot, that should get rid of the IE & operating system hooks that were installed with VirusBurster and then you should be able to delete the VirusBurster folder which will be in the "C:/Program Files" directory.

NHH Cheers for the info. I have used spybot and it has 'helped' but I am informed by NAV that I have Trojan.Zlob within the system. Currentley I am printing out detail from them on removal, though it does appear to be long winded. NAV has quarantined items found, am I safe, or should I do what they suggest, or is there a simpler route?
Many thanks to you and the team - once again Col.

Sounds right, If NAV is finding a virus just remove it, no need to quarantine. To be thorough disable system restore before scanning with NAV.

Picked up the info on system restore from the link, cheers. NAV has placed in quarantine, and reccomends the virus be 'excluded'? I did not attempt the other options which included 'remove' Is it that NAV cannot remove it? I will try anyway. Since I downloaded Firefox from your site an age ago, this is the first problem I have encountered, IE was a real pain for being attacked. Many thanks again NHH. Col.
