Hi, Hope someone can help me, Iv recently moved from AOL to Virgin Media. Iv never had any problem with automatic updates, They just let me know whats to be updated and i click and thats it done, Since iv moved to Virgin Media i cant install the updates.
When the update pops up i click as normal to install it and it says initializing installation then it says done, Then installing security update, But them a message says :some updates could not be installed , The following were not installed : security update for excel viewer 2003(KB940604). As you will now have gathered im a computer novice so if you can help would you please make it simple to understand.
I have Windows XP Home edition with everything up to date.
