Hi... If OE is still working but you don't have a shortcut you can launch OE by doing the following.... - Click on Start and Run
- Type msimn.exe in the box.
- Click OK
OE should open, if it does then do the following to make it your default mail client in Windows XP with an icon in the Start menu.... - Click the right mouse button on Start
- Select Properties
- Select the Start Menu tab
- Click on the Customise button
- You can now see two drop-down boxes, one for Internet & one for E-Mail
- Change the E-Mail box to show 'Outlook Express' and click OK in the remaining boxes.
You wil now have a shortcut at the top of the start menu which you can drag-&-drop onto your desktop if required. If you need to reinstall OE, just pick the IE6 Install in the 'Quick Links' menu on the front page of Nethomehelp. This will reinstall/update Internet Explorer & Outlook Express.
