Have you tried the IE Blank Links Fix listed on Nethomehelp's Fixes page? Also have you scanned you PC with a spyware removal program?

You need to delete everything it finds.
Easiest way to remove them all is when you've finished a scan, click on the 'Scan summary' tab, tick all the boxes in the list and click on the big button to start deleting stuff.

last time i deleted everything that the scan found, i lost my address bar and all sorts went wrong, i tried to reset my computer back a couple of days and it wouldnt let me!!!!! i eventually un-quarantinned the 248 items and everything resolved itself, which now leaves me with 248 dodgy items and i do not know which ones are meant to be on my pc and which ones are not!!! by the way this is a brilliant site and thank u from tapmacks

Hi..
Thanks for the praise ;D
Often when you have spyware, adware & malicious toolbars installed, once you remove them with a spyware remover program IE needs to be reinstalled to fix the problems left by the malicious programs.
My tip would be to install another web browser from Nethomehelp's downloads page so you can get back on the web (and be able to reinstall IE if you feel the need) before you remove all the items found by Ad-Aware.
Mozilla Firefox is the browser I recommend. If you stick with this or another non-IE browser you'll certainly be much less likely to have another infection with such malicious spyware and you won't see another popup ever again.
If you really feel the need to reinstall IE, goto IE Install on Nethomehelp's 'Quick Links' menu, click on Windows and select to open the file. Then follow the program's prompts to reinstall IE.
