Hi , just wondered if anyone could help me regarding a software issue Im currently having with Hotmail .
When I try and log in I enter all details correctly but get the message password incorrect even though it isnt ....... however when I re-enter it it works just fine like the log in is having some kind of double check of my password .
But just before I can get to my inbox ..... I get the message :
"Your Current Software May Limit Your Ability to Use Hotmail
You are using a web browser that Hotmail does not support. If you continue to use your current browser software we cannot guarantee that Hotmail will work correctly for you.
We recommend that you upgrade your web browsing software and invite you to download Microsoft Internet Explorer 6."
However what puzzles me is when Ive tried to download IE6 I get a message saying windows update manager has detected a newer version of windows already installed set up cannot continue .
I have recently installed IE7 beta and yet still I get the same message .
If anyone can help me ressolve the software issue with Hotmail Im currently having , I would be most appreciative as I cannot send any attachments due to this problem .
Kind Regards Dean

What version of Windows are you using, and what browser/version?

Well I tried IE7 on hotmail for you and no problems here. As IE7 is still in Beta phase there are bound to be a few hiccups along the way. I'd suggest use a different browser (Firefox/Opera) or grab the latest IE7 Beta 3 that has just been released.
