Hi Ellie. I'm assuming that you're using Windows XP as it's the most popular OS. To change your language settings do the following: - Click Start then Control Panel
- In the control panel, open Regional & Language Options. (If your Control Panel is in 'Category View' then first open 'Date, Time , Language & Regional Options'.)
- In the 'Regional & Language Options' window, select English (United Kingdom) to change the 'Standards & Formats' section.
- Click on the Languages tab and click on the Details button.
- In the 'Text Services & Input Languages' window, change the Default Input Language to English (United Kingdom)
- Click on the Add button for the 'Installed Services'.
- Set the 'Input Language' to English (United Kingdom) and the 'Keyboard Layout' to United Kingdom. Then click OK
- Now you can remove the 'United States' entry in the 'Installed Services' box, then click OK.
Windows will now be setup as a UK computer with a UK keyboard. Vin
