Hi everyone, i am trying to sort out a problem on my PC regarding playing games, i have a pentium 4 3.2 ghz, 512 ram running windows XP home my graphics card is a radeon 9000 agp. I have recently bought a game called Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 i have installed it on my PC but when i play the game, the game will play for so long and then crash this has been going on for about a week, i have updated my drivers for the graphics card but to no avail, could anyone out there point me in the right direction or advice on whether my system requirements are okay or if i need to upgrade.

Hi Chubbs, It looks as if your system spec is well enough for RTC3. Do you have DirectX 9 installed? If you don't know you can check by doing... Start, Run, type dxdiag & click OK. Also you could try installing the Omega ATI Radeon drivers, these drivers include some extra functionality to ATI's drivers and may make a difference. The Omega driver certainly made a difference to Doom3 on my laptop as the native ATI drivers were having problems with Doom3's lighting effects. Problems could also arise from other programs you have running on your system in the background, quit any unecessary programs running in the system tray (next to the clock on the bottom of your screen) Also you try installing the RCT3 updates available on the right of this page
