It goes on to say "To remove this virus, please run AVG for Windows.
Running AVG does not resolve this problem.....help please

Hi Big Jack
Simple.....
Just run Trend Micro's online virus scanner from Nethomehelp's front page... it's one of the best.
Maybe get rid of AVG and try Avast! which is free and very effective.

Vin, The program you suggested found the virus, but could not clean it. It could not delete it either. The virus sits in C:\WINDOWS\system32\muamgrd.exe
I can find no solution to this!!!!

Well Avast should get rid where Housecall can't. Install Avast from the downloads page... AVG must be uninstalled first. If Avast cannot remove it whilst Windows is running you can schedule a 'Boot time scan' which will scan and remove viruses when booting the PC before windows loads. Which means that no files will be locked by Windows during the scan. Also try disabling 'System Restore' before scanning as System Restore locks any files stored in it's archives. How?.... - Hold down the 'windows key' and press the 'Pause / Break' key.
- In the 'System Properties' window which opens, click on the 'System Restore' tab
- Tick the 'Turn off system restore' box.
Also try a scan with Spybot after Avast has done it's thing to check for anything that may bring back the trojan.
