Hi Vin, Can you please help? the teeny bopper in the house has receiveda virus from one of her msn contacts. called bropia or some such. However I have tried to run adaware and spybot and I cannot remove it. When I run adawre it usually stops after a short while. It also displays lsass.exe in the operations tab (after the c drive location) I have tried to download a sasser fix but the pc says it doesn't have sasser. Can you tell me what I should do now?

Heh ;D.. Well your spyware removal programs won't find it because Bropia.J is a worm, not spyware/malware. Try the Housecall Online Virus Scanner on the fromt of Nethomehelp's front page or read this article about the worm which has a link for the removal tool. Might I suggest that you use Trillian or GAIM form the downloads page instead of MSN messenger, either are more secure and are free of adverts. LSASS.exe is part of Windows and is not a virus, the Sasser worm sends instructions to cause LSASS.exe to reboot Windows.
