Someone told me that I could find a fix to an Outlook Express issue on this site as yet I have not found it! The issue with Outlook Express is that I have now added another hotmail account but it will not let me drop in the folders telling me that this is now a paid for service! I have had the account for years and already have another in Outlook Express so feel pretty pissed at this. I spoke to my ISP (Telewest) Who suggested I try here as there is a fix for this issue free of charge! Please if you can help I would be very grateful. Regards Nigel PS I love this site it has so much to offer and should be installed as default on every PC what a great idea.

Hi Nigel, glad you like the site.. Unfortunately Microsoft have decided to stop external client access to free hotmail accounts, the desicion was published about a year ago. There is now no way to access a free hotmail account from a mail client application such as Outlook Express, Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird etc. Solutions? Either start paying £14.99 a year for your hotmail or move to another free email service which provides POP access such as GMail
